What We Do
The Partners in Education Foundation for the Santa Fe Public Schools is an independent non-profit organization that links the community (citizens, businesses, nonprofits and government agencies) with its public schools in productive partnerships. Partners in Education serves all primary and secondary schools operating under the Santa Fe Public School District.
Partners in Education works to effect positive change in the schools by working directly with teachers. Partners in Education continuously seeks to improve education in Santa Fe by providing ways to achieve creative, cost-effective and innovative solutions to educational problems.
Programs
Partners in Education supports teachers through six programs:

Field Trips – Partners pays for bus transportation for educational field trips;
Teacher Warehouse – Businesses and individuals donate materials and supplies to our warehouse, and teachers are invited to “shop” for free;
Teachers Who Inspire Awards – Each year, Partners honors seven outstanding teachers;
Teacher Opportunity Scholarships – Partners offers tuition reimbursement for school employees studying to become teachers, or for teachers who are seeking advanced degrees in their field.
ArtWorks – provides artist-led classroom workshops to elementary school students and teachers around ‘live’ experiences with works of art—museum exhibits and performances.
